1942 War Scenes
The 1942 War Scenes (R168) set consists of 48 hand cut strip cards depicting scenes and participants of World War II in art-deco style artwork. The cards measure 2 1/4" x 2 11/16" and with the card numbers located on the backs. Some cards feature the name of their creator, MP & Company, who also distributed a baseball strip card set. Some of the notable Americans included in this set include Douglass MacArthur, Jimmy Dolittle, and Admiral Nimitz.
