1968 Topps Plaks
The 1968 Topps Plaks set is known to contain 24 plastic busts of players, and is considered one of the rarest issues from Topps. Even though checklists are available for this set, only 19 of the 24 Plaks have ever been known to exist.
The 1968 Topps Plaks are plastic images of the players, attached to a frame in a similar fashion to model cars, so these can be found in sprues of 3 busts together. There are 2 known variations of Mickey Mantle, but due to the scarcity of the set as a whole, neither one carries more value, so we do not list it as a variation.
