1933 DeLong Gum (R333) Baseball Cards

The 1933 DeLong Gum Baseball Card Set (R333) was issued by DeLong Gum Co. of Boston and consists of 24 cards.  The attractive cards feature a black and white photographs set in front of a colorful baseball stadium. The backs of the 1933 DeLong Gum cards include playing tips, written by Boston sportswriter Austen Lake.  

The 1933 DeLong Gum cards were one of five baseball gum card sets to flood the gum market in 1933.   This would be DeLong's only set of baseball cards. Produced in limited numbers, the 1933 DeLong cards are rare and sets are difficult to complete.
