The 1974 Topps Red Team Checklist Set includes 24 unnumbered cards, measuring 2 ½" by 3 ½", each with facsimile autographs of the players of that team on the front, framed by a red border, and a team checklist on the back. The 1974 Topps Red Team Checklists Cards were issued as inserts in the regular Topps baseball card wax packs, and also in uncut sheets available through a wrapper redemption promotion.
The 1974 Topps Red Team Checklists are sometimes confused with a less-common set, issued by O-Pee-Chee. The OPC cards have identical card fronts, but can be distinguished by their bilingual card backs.
